Region I Director's Summer League
The following Age Groups and Flights will be available to both Boys and Girls teams:
Under 13 Boys and Girls [Will compete for the US Youth Soccer National Directors Cup] Under 14 Boys and Girls [Will compete for the US Youth Soccer National Directors Cup] Under 15 Boys and Girls [Will compete for the US Youth Soccer National Directors Cup] Under 16 Boys and Girls [Will compete for the US Youth Soccer National Directors Cup] Under 17 Boys and Girls Under 18/19 Boys and Girls League Fees: $350.00 per team due with application.
Dates: Play will begin June 1 and will conclude by early July. Semi finals and Finals may be scheduled in early July.
Roster Size:
A maximum of twenty-five (25) eligible players may be listed on a team's pool roster at any one time.
There will be a flexible add and drop policy.
Teams will be allowed to multiple roster within the same club organization (i.e., a U16 player can play on the U16 team or the U17 team at the same time).
Teams may only have 18 players on their game roster.
Teams must come to the field with a copy of their pool roster and a copy of their game roster.
Player Passes
All teams will use a Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Member Pass that will be provided by adidas® and issued by the Region.
All Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Member Passes MUST be laminated.
The Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Member Pass must also be present or a copy of the pass, signed by the state registrar, may also be used.
All players must be affiliated with US Youth Soccer for the current soccer year.
Rosters
All teams will use a Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Roster.
All Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Rosters will be issued by the Region.
All Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Rosters will be processed by the Region.
The Region I Summer League US Youth Soccer Roster can only be used in this league.
Referee Game Fees: Each team will be responsible for bringing to the field their half of the referee game fee.Playing Rules: Each age group will have a coordinator. Rules will be established by the League Commissioner for each age group depending on the number of teams in each respective age group.
National Directors Cup: Qualifying champions of the Region I Summer League will represent Region I in the National Directors' Cup. While all teams are eligible to play in the Region I Summer League, teams that have played in the Region I Premier League or is a state cup champion (for states with 30,000 or more registered players), will not be eligible to advance to the National Directors Cup.
Application Deadline Date: All applications are to be received on or before May 1, 2008. Each State Association will be notified of the accepted teams from that state. Click here for an application form either in Word Format or PDF Format.
