2007 US Youth Soccer ODP

National Championships Schedule Announced

1989 and 1991 age groups vie for elite crown in Frisco, Texas

 

FRISCO, TEXAS (December 4, 2006) – US Youth Soccer’s elite will compete at the 2007 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) National Championships to be played March 16 and 18 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.  

 

Boys and Girls teams in the 1989 and 1991 age groups will play semi-final matches on Friday, March 16, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with championship and consolation matches to be played Sunday, March 18 beginning at 8:00 a.m. The teams competing have qualified by winning their respective age division at their US Youth Soccer ODP Regional Championships.

1989 Girls Teams:       

Eastern Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Texas State Associations and a Region IV State Association Team

 

1989 Boys Teams:       

Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina State Associations and a Region IV State Association Team

 

1991 Girls Teams:       

New Jersey, Michigan, North Texas State Associations and a Region IV State Association Team

 

1991 Boys Teams:       

Eastern New York, Illinois, Florida State Associations and a Region IV State Association Team

Eagerly seeking the top youth talent in the country, collegiate coaches will observe the US Youth Soccer ODP National Championship players during these matches.  The participants in this prestigious event range from U15 to U17, who essentially represents the future of American soccer at the collegiate and international levels.
