US Youth Soccer Region I National Championships

College Coach Registration

The Region I US Youth Soccer National Championships will be held in Barboursville, WV on July 2-7, 2009.  During the event, the championship teams from each of the 15 Region I states and the champions from the Region I Premier League will compete for the Regional Championship in their age group.  Champions from the U14-U19 age groups will continue on to the US Youth Soccer National Championships.

Preliminary round play will begin on Friday, July 3 and continues on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.  Semi final matches will be held on Monday, July 6, and the Finals will be held on Tuesday, July 7.  A detailed schedule will be posted on this website in the middle of June 2009.

This is an opportunity for college coaches to see the best players from Maine to West Virginia.  Region I will provide each college coach who registers a booklet of player profiles for the U15-U17 players, a booklet with all game schedules, and credentials that will allow you to be on the players' side of the field between the 18 yard line and the goal line.  There is no cost to the college coach, but to insure that we have a players' profile book for you, we are asking you to register in advance.  We will also publish the list of colleges that plan to attend.

You can get your booklet and credentials at one of the following:

    July 2nd, Thursday, at the HQ Hotel, Pullman Plaza
    July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th at the Headquarters Tent at Barboursville Park
    July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th at the Headquarters Tent at Scott Ortho site

At the desk, you will be asked to show a photo ID and initial that you have received your books and credentials.
