April 2006 - Pictures of the US Womens U16 National team in Holland. Region I players included Kristin Mewis, Vicki DiMartino, Amber Brooks, Brittany Bartok, and Alyssa Pember.

December 2005 - The NSCAA announced their selections for the Girls All Americans Team for 2005. See a list of US Youth Soccer Region I players that were selected.

December 2005 - The US Soccer Women's National Teams' staff has released the list of players who were selected to participate in the various national team pools based on their performance at the Thanksgiving Inter-Regional event held in Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday. Eighteen Region I players were selected to the pools:

November 2005 - The U15 National Camp was held at the Home Depot Center on October 22-29. Six Region I players were invited to the camp. Read the notes these players had about the camp.

July 2005 - The US Women's U17 National Team traveled to Mexico to compete in an international tournament against Mexico and Canada. The US Team played three games, against the Mexican U20 National Team, the Mexican U17 National Team and the Canadian U20 National Team. Meghan Klingenberg and Akilah Duggan were two the nine Region I ODP players who were on the US Team. You can read about their experiences about the trip. December 12, 2004 - The US Women's National U19 Team competed the FIFA U19 World Championship in Thailand. Yael Averbuch is a Region I ODP Player who was a member of that team. Read about her experiences on the trip.

December 6, 2004 - Thirty two girls from Region I have been selected for 2004 NSCAA/adidas® Girls High School All-America Team. See the complete list of these girls.
